In an effort to provide what is best for the children in Child Crisis Arizona’s care, we are no longer able to accept used in-kind donations. We have transitioned to only accepting new items for donation.
Our goal is to provide our kids with quality, long-lasting items and give them the opportunity to have new items, maybe for the first time in their lives. Most often when children come to our shelters, they come with little more than the clothes on their backs. To ensure a home-like environment we provide clothes, shoes, toiletries, a blanket, stuffed animal and a toy. When children leave our shelter, they are able to take everything they have acquired during their stay. Regardless of the length of stay, we want our kids to feel safe, comfortable and like part of our family.
By providing new clothing and items we give children the opportunity to feel proud of where they are living. At a time of uncertainty in their lives, little things can make all the difference. These kids have been taken away from everything they have ever known and are forced into a situation they may not understand. New items are a small reminder that they are worth it and can help them start to rebuild their self-worth.
In-kind donations are vital to Child Crisis Arizona. Without the generous support of our donors, we would not be able to offer quality services for vulnerable children and families. We are grateful for your support and donations and hope we can find new ways to work together.
