Run or walk to support Arizona’s children in crisis by registering for Child Crisis Arizona’s K’s For Kids Run/Walk on Sunday, April 3, 2016.
With the option of a 5k, 10k and Kid’s Dash, there is fun for the whole family. Sign up as an individual, or create a group to fundraise. If you are the first member of your team to register, make sure you “Create a Team.” All other team members can select “Join a Team” when registering.

Child Crisis Arizona’s K’s For Kids Run/Walk allows Child Crisis Arizona to fulfill is work by serving 8,000 vulnerable children and families annually through its crisis, prevention, and education services. This year, more than 500 people are expected to participate in the 5k, 10k and Kids Run around the scenic PERA Club in Tempe. Prior to the race, participants can enjoy children’s activities and refreshments as well as learn more about Child Crisis Arizona’s impact in the community.
Why is Child Crisis Arizona’s work so critical? Recent statistics on the number of children in foster care is staggering, nearly 19,000 and there are currently only 4,500 licensed foster homes available. Child Crisis Arizona’s Emergency Children’s Shelters only have beds for 71 children.
