A recent "Love Letter" to Child Crisis Arizona

February 11, 2026

Summary

Dear Child Crisis Arizona,

I am writing this letter to express my gratitude for my experience with Child Crisis Arizona, for which I am truly thankful. My daughter and I joined the Early Education program in September 2024 after learning about you through my local library. From the beginning, this program has provided support and guidance that has helped my daughter and me grow.

Through in-home visits, my Family Support Specialist gave me tools to support my daughter’s development, including language strategies and introducing new foods. We also worked on goals for my daughter and myself, which kept me motivated to keep learning and working on ourselves.  I also participated in parenting classes, CPR training, and playgroups, where my daughter was able to interact with other children. Throughout this process, I received books, diapers, and clothing from the distribution center, which helped me a lot.

In early 2025, I experienced personal challenges and began using additional services, attending daily onsite with mental health support. Because of this support, I am able to work with peace of mind, knowing my daughter is safe, nourished, and cared for by people who truly love and support her.

I am incredibly grateful for my daughter’s teachers, and everyone at Child Crisis Arizona. I feel supported, welcomed, and thankful to be part of a program that truly cares about families in the classroom and in their homes.

With love,

Elizabeth H.
